I think it's beyond stupid that that song wasn't included on the first volume of this soundtrack. DUH DUH DUH people. That's all I wanted to say. It's a huge part of the end of the movie - it's THE defining song.

Just to be clear, for the SnC target market the music is fabulous, but the contraints are not. But hey, I am only one customer.Signed,Disappointed Customer Individual downloads are usually an incentive to buy additional tracks that I can learn to live with. I spend a decent chunk of change on individual downloads for the simple fact that I am over buying an entire CD for only 2 good songs. It really is a shame. The music is great but when a soundtrack with multiple great songs is divided across 5 or 6 different CDs, I smell a rip-off.All I want are 8 or 9 songs, but they are spread across 4 CD's and guess what, I would rather spend that on gas and lunch for the week. If these songs could be downloaded individually, royalty profits would most certainly triple overnight (opinion, not fact). So instead of getting from us $4.99 or $5.99 this label will get nothing until they loosen up the tracks available to us.
It is some of the best money you can spend, and a must have for anyone who loves Sex and the City or beautiful compilations of music. In just one song, you could feel the pain and heartache Big had caused her for all those years. From the privacy of my car, I re-lived the movie and found myself reflecting on my own life. I have purchased two of these cds, one for myself and one for my mother. While I was fairly disappointed in the Sex and the City soundtrack, the score is a rare gem amongst my cd collection.
I plan on buying more to give as gifts. It is moving. I praise Aaron Zigman for creating this masterpiece and wish he received more recognition for his creation. Highly recommended. The soundtrack is elegant and lovely.
For those who have seen the movie, some of the pieces combine several scenes (for instance, all scenes with Dante are combined into one), and the cd does not follow in order with the movie, but the sequence makes for a more logical flow for listening.
